Gerald Clayton - Ones and Twos

Pianist and composer Gerald Clayton collaborates with vibraphonist Joel Ross, flutist Elena Pinderhughes, trumpeter Marquis Hill, and drummer Kendrick Scott on his 3rd Blue Note album, Ones & Twos, with post-production work by Kassa Overall. The album is an experiment, an idea inspired by the art of turntablism. Clayton wanted to make a record where side A could be played simultaneously with side B. Ones & Twos is a nod to that moment in the club when the DJ goes from one song to the next and you hear two separate pieces at once.
